Book discussions for new year
We’ve launched new monthly book discussions at our branch libraries. Maze Branch is hosting “Graphic Novels,” “What’s Cooking,” and “Places of Mystery.” Dole Branch added “I Love Romance” and “Inspiration: Living Life Mindfully,” and is continuing the “Brown Bag Discussions” and “Read and Reflect.” All library book discussions are open to those who are committed to talking about books. Changes to serve you better
Many library users are between the ages of 9 and 18, so we're completing work this week that improves areas for both teens and tweens in the Main Library. Overall, our goal is better spaces for our younger customers to interact in, feel proud of, and inspire a love of learning, reading and being at the library. Over the next few months, we’ll watch and listen closely to assess how these new spaces are best used and if additional tweaks should come. Learn more about our space changes › |
