Pintesting: Crafts for Adults
Want to try some of the crafts you've seen on Pinterest, but don't feel like investing in all sorts of supplies? We know how you feel! So on Sunday, November 18 we’ll provide the tools for you to try your hand at a few photo gifts. Bring a handful of photos and join us between 3:00 and 4:00 pm at the Dole Branch Library. Closed November 30 for Staff Day
We're always challenging ourselves to innovate new ways to meet your needs. So we close our physical locations one day a year for staff development. This year we’ll be closed on Friday, November 30. This day will engage staff in learning opportunities and build our team as we make our library the best it can be for the Oak Park community. The library will also close early, at 5:00 pm on Wednesday, November 21 and be closed Thursday, November 22 for the Thanksgiving holiday. Your library is open 24/7 at oppl.org ›

Library Director Deirdre Brennan Leaves to Lead RAILS
Deirdre Brennan has announced her last day as Executive Director of Oak Park Public Library will be December 31, 2012. She has been selected to lead RAILS, an Illinois library system, to help empower more people with all that libraries can offer. Oak Park Public Library’s Board of Trustees is committed to providing award-winning service to its community, and has every expectation that the library’s plans will move forward.
