Halloween Fun Night at
Dole Branch Library Oct. 27
Spooky, ooky, creepy, and crawly! Families are invited to the Dole Branch Library on Saturday, October 27 for an after-hours fright-night starting at 6:00 pm. Enjoy games, crafts, stories, and refreshments best for ages 4 to 10 with an adult. Costumes encouraged, but not required. Sensory Storytimes to Add Exploration Stations
We’re adding a brand new playgroup to the end of each Sensory Storytime. Designed for kids who may have a hard time sitting still or focusing in big groups, Sensory Storytimes include stories and songs, as well as large and small movement activities. Afterward, kids and caregivers can explore sensory activity stations together. Our next session of Sensory Storytimes starts October 30. Best for kids ages 3 to 6 with a caregiver. Janice Elkins, Jan Radomyski Show Artwork in October
Enjoy exhibits by Oak Park artists Janice Elkins and Jan Radomyski throughout October. Elkins exhibit “Iterations: 22 Years of Self Referential Work” is at the Main Library Art Gallery. She’ll do a 15-minute discussion of her work on October 18 at 12:15 pm. Jan Radomyski is October’s aMAZEing Artist. His portraits are at the Maze Branch Library.
