Three Awards for Oak Park Public Library Staff from Illinois Library Association

Three Oak Park Public Library staff members received awards at the Illinois Library Association's annual conference on Tuesday, October 18, 2011. Lori Pulliam, Branch Services Manager and Interim Circulation Services Manager, received the Davis Cup Award for outstanding contributions in library service to young people. Librarian Michele Paladines received the Crosman Memorial Award for achievements as a new professional. Circulation Supervisor and Dominican University library student Margita Lidaka received the Sylvia Murphy Williams Award to provide additional support to Illinois recipients of the ALA Spectrum Initiative Scholarship.
"We are thrilled to have three of our talented staff members recognized with these prestigious awards," states Oak Park Public Library Executive Directory Deirdre Brennan. "Our staff excel at providing services to the Oak Park community and we are pleased to have them recognized in this way."
