Jim Henson
As summer reading comes to a close on Aug. 1, we kick off our end of summer children’s programming with Henson Highlights, a mini-film fest celebrating the genius of Jim Henson, at Maze Branch.
 
Henson Highlights features the unique and innovative pupeteering of Jim Henson in six of his classic films. Free screenings are open to Henson fans of all ages, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 1 pm. Join us for one or all.
 
The Muppet Movie

Kermit the Frog, accompanied by many of his Muppet friends, ventures to Hollywood in search of fame and success, while evading a determined frog leg salesman. Starring Jim Henson, Frank Oz and Jerry Nelson. (1979, 96 minutes, G)
