- LECTURE: How I Saved $5,000 A Year Using My Public Library, Saturday, April 5, 11 am, Main Library Veterans Room. “My library card is the most valuable card in my wallet,” says Laura Bruzas, who will share her tips for saving money with a library card.
- CLASS: Download Digital Music and Movies, Thursday, April 10, 7 pm, Main Library Veterans Room. Join Digital Services Librarian Gretchen Rings to learn how to stream and download free music, movies and more from anywhere with your Oak Park Public Library card and PIN number.
- PARTICIPATORY EVENT: Craft Swap, Saturday, April 12, noon–2 pm, Main Library Lobby. Drop off unused crafts supplies from 1 to 3 pm Saturday, April 5, and 10 am to noon Friday, April 11. Then, come back for the swap on Saturday, April 12, and take home supplies new to you.
