Winter Weather Holds Pick-Up at Branch Locations

When the weather is bad, you’re short on time, or have the little ones all buckled in, there’s no need to leave your car to pick up your holds at our branches. Give us a call and we’ll bring your items out to the curb. For pick-up at the Dole Branch, call 708-386-9032. For pick-up at the Maze Branch, call 708- 386-4751. Have your library card number handy when you call and we’ll let you know when your items will be ready for pick up.

New Space for Tweens
Coming Soon

We’re busy creating a new space with special appeal for kids at that “in between” age, 9 to 13. The new first floor space at the Main Library will feature easy to browse fiction books and graphic novels especially for tweens. Plus, at our grand opening in January, fun tools, games, and comfy furniture will make this a cool, fun place to hang out. While we reorganize the books to set up this new tween space, our Main Library Children’s area will be closed through Thursday, December 14. More about our tween space ›
