An Evening with Jared Diamond

Meet Pulitzer Prize-winning author Jared Diamond at Oak Park’s Unity Temple on Thursday, January 10 at 7:00 pm. He will discuss his new book, The World Until Yesterday: What Can We Learn from Traditional Societies. Tickets are $21.50, and include $10 off the purchase of Diamond’s new book. Warm up this winter with dragons and an adventure to Middle Earth. “Get Fired Up for Reading,” our winter reading program, runs through Saturday, February 2. Our selection for tweens, teens, and adults is The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien.
