School's Out: Get Geared Up

Geared up

Join us Monday, February 18, from 2:00-4:00 pm in the Main Library Storytime Room for Geared Up, a dynamic learning through play program best for tweens ages 9 to 12. Geared Up brings engineering, physical science, math and technology challenges to elementary school students. Using LEGO motorized mechanism sets to teach exciting hands-on lessons, students test their own ideas while partnering in teams of two.

Register online, in person at any library location or call 708.452.3420. Geared Up is brought to the library in collaboration with the Oak Park Education Foundation, a coalition that implements hands-on, curriculum-enriching programs for the children of District 97 public schools.
