Starting June 1, anyone who checks out materials at an Oak Park Public Library location will no longer be charged overdue fines. This policy change is about access and equity: removing barriers to library services, creating a better overall library experience for more cardholders, and encouraging use and enjoyment of more materials without worry about fine accumulation.
