Celebrating Seniors: "The Great American Songbook" with Dr. Burton Fischman

Parallel Paths: The Poetry of Carl Sandburg, the Music of Chris Vallillo

Hear Illinois award-winning folksinger and songwriter Chris Vallillo pair Sandburg's poetry with his own original songs and instrumentals as well as several of the songs Sandburg himself collected as a folklorist. This program was created for the 2012 Carl Sandburg Days Festival. It is funded in part by the Illinois Humanities Council.
