If you like to knit, scrapbook, sew, or pursue some other craft, you probably have plenty of "leftovers." Why not trade those things you no longer use for "new to you" materials?

To celebrate Money Smart Week, crafters are invited to bring craft supplies in good condition to the Main Library Lobby on Saturday mornings, April 11 and 18, between 10 a.m. and noon. Donors will receive a coupon good to redeem for "new to you" materials at the Craft Supply Swap on Saturday, April 25, from 10 a.m. to noon.

Free Music Event: Grupo Cha Cha

This dynamic Chicago Latin jazz group promises to take you on a thrilling journey of lively salsa, merengue, cha cha cha, samba, rumba, and Latin jazz beats. The band's focus for this concert will be music by women composers of Latin music performed by Latin women musicians. Hear music from top female composers including Elaine Elias, Andrea Brachfeld, and Rebecca Mauleon, along with Chicago's very own Mujeres Unidas! Grupo Cha Cha are known as the Sly and the Family Stone of Latin bands because of their gender and ethnic diversity.
