Local artist, Maggie Leininger,will be spinning a giant pile of wool into yarn using both a spinning wheel and an assortment of drop spindles. The project revolves around the literary connection of cloth making in our fairy tales such as Rumpelstiltskin.

Block Party!

Calling all budding engineers! Use our brand new wooden unit blocks to build whatever your imagination can come up with, from zoos to skyscrapers and everything else. Block play helps kids gain important math skills like counting, shapes, weight, volume, spatial skills, grouping and sorting as well as improve hand-eye coordination and problem solving skills. Building also lets kids practice their storytelling and narrative skills, which are important for early literacy. No registration. All ages.
