Parent Workshop: Tech Night with District 97

Wednesday, February 18, 2015 - 6:00pm to 8:00pm

Teacher librarians from District 97 along with Oak Park Public Library librarians will demonstrate databases and apps for parents of elementary and middle school kids to showcase all that is offered with this joint partnership between the schools and library. Please bring your own device if possible. Registration with an Oak Park Public Library card necessary.

Practice ACT Test

Saturday, February 7, 2015 - 9:00am to 1:00pm

High school students can sign up for this free, fully proctored, full-length practice ACT test sponsored by Kaplan Test Prep. Students will learn what to expect in a test-like environment and receive a comprehensive analysis of their performance on the test, detailing individual strengths and weaknesses.

Space is limited so registration is required. Registration begins Saturday, January 10.

Students should bring two #2 pencils and a calculator.

Flying Fox Conservation visits with a mini-menagerie of animals and fascinating stories about their work saving endangered species. Best for ages 4+. Registration with an Oak Park Public Library card necessary.
