For children 3 to 5 years. Through longer picture books and concept games, children build important pre-reading skills in this fun and enriching session. This class builds skills and supports school success.
A writers' group for adult and teen fiction writers of all types and genres. Bring your lunch, your words to share, and your words yet to be written. If you're new, bring a bit of flash fiction you are proud of (1,000 words or less) to introduce yourself to the group.
Teens who have been accepted as part of the summer drop-in volunteer program will meet each other, learn about what's expected, and have an opportunity for a behind-the-scenes tour of the Main Library.
