A young girl walks through a secret door and discovers a parallel reality that is eerily similar to the life she already knows, yet deeply unsettling in a number of ways. We'll talk about Neil Gaiman's best-selling book (also available as a graphic novel), decorate some deliciously creepy button-eye cookies, and then check out the animated film. (PG, 2009, 100 minutes) Best for ages 8+.

This class is designed for children with special needs ages 3 and up with caregiver support. Classes are structured with Boardmaker schedules and include fun picture books and songs, along with fine and gross motor movement activities. Special supports like lap weights and fidget toys are available to help children be successful. Siblings welcome.

DigiTales: Robots!

DigiTales: Robots!

Friday, October 14, 2016 - 10:00am to 10:30am

Beep! Bop! Boop! Gear up to learn all about robots in this digital storytime. Stories and songs are paired with apps and digital library tools. Best for ages 2-6. For the 4-6 year-olds, stick around afterwards to learn and play with hands-on Bee-bot robots for a short age-appropriate introduction to coding.

Homeschool Meet-Up

Homeschool Meet-Up

Thursday, November 17, 2016 - 12:00pm to 2:00pm

Drop in each week to socialize with other local homeschooling families. Everyone is welcome, no advance registration required. Bring your sack lunch, too! Best for ages 6+ and siblings.
