Wednesday, April 20, 2016 - 1:00pm to 3:15pm

A struggling poet and playwright is bereft of ideas and has yet to begin writing the play he has already sold.

A beautiful woman loves the theater, but is forbidden by law from the stage.  The doomed love affair between Will and Viola is transformed into a masterpiece. (R, 1998, 123 minutes)
Join us for this program series featuring films with a historical context. We'll watch the film and then discuss the historic events and people depicted.

Focusing on the story, we'll talk about what the film got right (or wrong) about history.
