What I do at the library: I make sure the patrons have a positive experience at the library. I help them to get a new card, place holds, and find something incredible to watch, read, or listen to. I also help with troubleshooting in case something is not quite right.

My favorite "hidden library gem": It’s not quite so hidden anymore. The Hemingway Archives are such a wealth of information about Ernest Hemingway and about what Oak Park was like at the time of its founding. As a longtime Hemingway Foundation docent, I find the treasures there incredible, and am glad that they will be available for everyone to see.

Something I love about Oak Park: I love the history, the architecture, and especially the sense of community.

What I’m reading, listening to, and watching now: I am currently reading How to Be a Victorian, listening to the soundtrack to the movie About Time, and eagerly watching Downton Abbey Season 5.
