Annual Book Fair a success
A big thank you to everyone who shopped, donated, or volunteered to make the Friend of the Library’s Book Fair a success. About 200 volunteers sorted thousands of donated items prior to the sale. Hundreds of shoppers on Friday and Saturday purchased gently-used books, movies, CDs, records, and collectibles. Proceeds from the book fair will allow the Friends of the Library to continue to support the library’s summer reading program and many events for all ages. Can’t wait until next year’s fair to help the library? Become a Friend . |

Summer readers thrill the library
More than 3,200 kids, ages 2 to 11, joined our summer reading program. The older kids clamored to read for charity and raised hundreds of dollars. Over 500 teens and adults participated by reading more than 2,000 titles! These wonderful role-models demonstrated that reading is fun and rewarding. Tell us what you thought of the program by completing this teen survey or our Read Anywhere survey . Thanks for participating, and happy reading !
