Improv Showcase Features Local Performers Oct. 12

Local talent of all ages will perform during a special night of improvisational theater. Participants from the library’s improv workshops will ham-it-up onstage while the audience marvels at their feats of spontaneous action and comedy.
The fun begins after-hours at 6:30 pm on Friday, October 12 at the Maze Branch Library. Refreshments provided. Register in person, online [1], or by calling 708-386-4751. This all-ages event is free and open to the public.
The Improv Showcase will feature participants from the free improv workshops offered monthly at the Maze Branch Library. Specific workshops are designed for kids (ages 7 to 10), teens (ages 11 and up), and adults. All workshops include cause for hilarity and improvisational drama games that test quick-thinking skills. All skill levels are welcome, including those who have never acted before but always wanted to try and seasoned professionals who love moment-to-moment action.
