One of the nation's best libraries is in Oak Park

In November 2012, we received the highly coveted 5-Star rating in Library Journal’s Index of Public Library Service [1]. We also were ranked first in Illinois within our budget category. The 5-Star distinction was measured by service output for all Oak Park Public Library locations in four areas: circulation of collection materials, number of visits, program attendance, and Internet use.
