Becoming a Collector: Art on a Budget

Whether you’re just starting out or have an established home, starting an art collection can be intimidating. On Thursday, November 15, at 7:00 pm in the Main Library [1] Veterans Room, learn from our panel when, where, and how to start investing in art and how to curate a collection from the ground up. No registration required.

The evening's panelists are:

  • Matthew Lew [2], Chicago artist and CB2 designer
  • Simon Gallo [3], Oak Park artist and member of the Oak Park Art League
  • Paul Hamer [4], Frame Warehouse

Learn more about art in the library [5], and access our online tools related to art.
