An Evening with Jared Diamond
Meet Pulitzer Prize-winning author Jared Diamond at Oak Park’s Unity Temple on Thursday, January 10 at 7:00 pm. Glow-in-the-Dark Party Celebrates New Tween Space
We created a tween space at the Main Library to appeal especially to kids at that “in between” age, 9 to 13. It features easy-to-browse fiction books and graphic novels for tweens, plus, laptops, games, and comfy furniture. Tweens are invited to the grand opening Glow-in-the-Dark Party on Thursday, January 24 from 7:00 to 8:30 pm. Hang out, play games, meet new friends, and enjoy refreshments! Who will win the glory at the 4th annual trivia night fundraiser presented by the Friends of the Library? Form your team of 4 to 6 people and step up to the challenge on Saturday, March 2.
