Taste Spain Friday, February 8

Enjoy a small taste of an authentic Spanish dish and a cash bar of Spanish wines. Chef Emilio Gervilla of Emilio’s Tapas will present a short cooking demonstration while discussing Spanish food, wine, and culture. This free after-hours event will begin at 7:00 pm at the Main Library. The library will reopen at 6:40 pm and parking will be available in the parking garage. • After-hours Big Band Concert: Glen Ellyn Jazz Ensemble performs, 21+ with cash bar, on Saturday, February 9
• Artist Reception: Nancy Rose Ortenberg exhibits photographs from her travels to Mississippi Delta, reception on Sunday, February 10
• Live Discussion: “In the Belly of the Blues” with Terry Abrahamson on Monday, February 11

Branches offer curbside pick-up

When the weather is bad, you’re short on time, or have the little ones all buckled in, there’s no need to leave your car to pick up your holds at our branches. Give us a call and we’ll bring your items out to the curb. For pick-up at the Dole Branch [8], call 708-386-9032. For pick-up at the Maze Branch [9], call 708-386-4751. Have your library card number handy when you call and we’ll let you know when your items will be ready for pick up.
