School's Out: Get Geared Up

Join us Monday, February 18, from 2:00-4:00 pm in the Main Library Storytime Room for Geared Up, a dynamic learning through play program best for tweens ages 9 to 12. Geared Up brings engineering, physical science, math and technology challenges to elementary school students. Using LEGO motorized mechanism sets to teach exciting hands-on lessons, students test their own ideas while partnering in teams of two.
Register online [1], in person at any library location or call 708.452.3420. Geared Up is brought to the library in collaboration with the Oak Park Education Foundation, a coalition that implements hands-on, curriculum-enriching programs for the children of District 97 public schools.
