  Share your personal story and reflections about your experience with the library

The Friends of the Oak Park Public Library support the Library, build bridges between the Library and community, and raise funds to sponsor the programs and services that we could not otherwise afford.

• Annual Book Fair

  The Annual Book Fair offers thousands of books in every conceivable category. We accept donations or materials for the sale all year, and need volunteers to staff the sale.

• Barbara Ballinger Lecture

  Each year, the Barbara Ballinger Lecture brings an accomplished author to speak in Oak Park.

• Writers at Wright

  Bringing popular, cutting-edge authors to Oak Park, Writers at Wright is a collaboration between the Friends of the Oak Park Public Library, The Book Table, Unity Temple Restoration Foundation, & Midwest Media.
