Titles to help you prioritize self-care

By Collection Management Librarian Dontaná

Did you know that September is self-care month? No? Neither did we, but what a time to find out! Self-care is simply taking the time and making decisions that prioritize wellness and happiness. It’s about relaxation, mindfulness, and taking steps to reduce stress.

Self-care looks different for everyone. If you’ve found yourself cooking and baking more, getting your hands dirty in the garden, taking more walks, and reading more books, you’re practicing self-care. Check out the books on this list for more ways to de-stress, relax, and remind yourself that this too shall pass.
