Storytime descriptions

Which storytimes are best for you and your little ones? See descriptions—including recommended ages (with caregiver support)—below!

  • Baby Lapsit (nonwalkers ages 0-1): Short books are paired with songs and rhymes that are modeled to introduce pre-literacy skills, designed for one-on-one interactions between caregivers and babies who are not yet walking.
  • Cuenta Cuentos con Kathy/Spanish Storytime With Kathy (ages 3-6): Spanish language storytime with stories, songs, and dancing, facilitated by Kathy Valdivia.
  • Shake, Rattle & Read (ages 0-5): Get ready to sing, dance, and listen to great stories!
  • Supported Storytime (children with disabilities ages 3+; siblings welcome): Enjoy fun picture books, songs, and fine and gross motor movement activities, structured with visual schedules. Sensory supports available.
  • Young & Restless (ages 0-2): Enjoy short books paired with songs and rhymes that are modeled to introduce pre-literacy skills.
